Date: 19 - 20 MAY 2016
Venue: Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre
Seven hundred people attended our biennial conference which sets the standard for Australian mental health conferences providing challenging content, provocative speakers and leading-edge thinking.
It provided an opportunity to come together to showcase the latest research, share best practice, review industry trends and consider the future of mental health services within the context of an ever changing environment.Delegates and other participants' feedback was excellent overall with a high level of satisfaction with the content and logistics of the conference.
We were proud to welcome not just top level bureaucrats, influencers and change agents but also our member organisations, 22 of which were represented in the formal business of conference, whether on committees, as speakers, presenters, chairs, sponsors or exhibitors. Our members are integral to our organisation and it is only with their direct involvement that the conference can be a success.
It is a key calendar date and attracts a full cross section of the mental health
sector over two days representing mental health service providers, consumers and carers as well as representation from government; community support and the education sectors.
The conference provides an opportunity to come together to showcase the latest research, share best practice, review industry trends and consider the future of mental health services within the context of an ever changing environment.
We welcome the participation, as presenters or delegates, of a wide range of organisations and people interested in mental health issues, including clinical and primary health service providers and consumers.
