More about the consumer and carer delegate rates

These heavily subsidised conference rates are intended to support the attendance of consumers or carers who are also concession card holders or on low income.

We acknowledge that many people employed by mental health service providers are also consumers of services or carers. However, we ask that employers register staff who are also consumers or carers at the relevant member, or non-member, rates. We also ask fully waged consumers or carers who are attending for personal or professional development, and who can afford to, register at the relevant member or non-member rate.

This will allow us to continue to subsidise those people who would otherwise struggle to attend.
